The call for summer 2025 internships for CA community college students is now open! Research is to be conducted on site at the UC Berkeley campus. Mentorship and training provided. To apply, you must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing at a CA community college, and returning to community college in fall 2025 for at least one additional term. Note that no experience is necessary to apply, but we will prioritize applicants who plan to transfer to a 4-year degree granting institution to pursue a career in STEM, and of course having an interest in fungi/mycology is a plus! Selected participants will need to commit 24-32 hours per week, for 8 weeks of training starting in June (start date flexible). Participants will be paid a rate of $21 / hr.
